Virgin Money London Marathon 2021
Following the announcement of the postponement of the London Marathon from April 2020 to October 2020 and then to October 2021, we hope that you will continue to cheer, encourage and sponsor Dr Robert Chaffe who is continuing to train and fundraise on our behalf (even throughout this extended period). Read more about his journey and why he’s chosen to fundraise for the Charity below.
Hi. I am a dentist working privately in London. It was an honour to be selected to run the London Marathon on behalf of the BDA Benevolent Fund. It is a small charity that does a lot to support our fellow professionals in crisis and has been around for over 138 years! It would be amazing if you could support this wonderful organisation by sponsoring me for the London Marathon in Octoner 2021. Please donate now via my fundraising page. I love running, it is a way I help to handle stress and keep fit. I have just the Royal Parks half marathon and the great north run many times, so I’m quite an experienced runner, and something I’m incredibly passionate about. I also love my job and it seems so important to help my fellow professionals who are struggling and I hope you can help support them. You can follow my training and progress on my Instagram page @Robertchaffe and on Facebook. I can’t wait to [finally] get going!
