Finance and Operations Administrator
We are on the lookout for someone to join our small team and keep our finances and operations in order to replace our Administrator, Susan who is retiring.
£17k Pro Rata (£30k full time equivalent)
21 hours per week, flexible, remote
About the role:
You will mainly be responsible for the financial elements of the Charity, providing bookkeeping to process grants, invoices, and general activities as well as reconciling accounts (SAGE) to produce monthly reports. As part of a small team, you will also provide general administration for the BDA Benevolent Fund including organising and taking minutes at meetings. You will also be the first port of call for our potential applicants, supporters, and donors via phone and email– so can provide good customer service, taking the initiative to answer queries and solve issues in a friendly and professional manner.
About you:
This role will suit someone who is personable, has a can-do attitude, and enjoys working as part of a very small team. You should be task-oriented, have great attention to detail, and be able to prioritise your workload. The position suits someone who is collaborative and able to work under their own initiative.
