Leave a lasting legacy

We’re committed to supporting the wellbeing and financial needs of dental students, dentists, and their families now and for years to come. We rely on donations from the dental community to support our work. We appreciate that times are tough and that’s why, during Free Wills Month, we’re covering the costs for a limited number of Wills, exclusively for our valued supporters. Saving you time and money, we hope this will encourage you to take that next step.

It’s not unusual for people to leave a gift to charity

Amazingly, 1 in 4 people who used Farewill in 2023 chose to leave a gift to charity in their Will. According to their annual Year in Wills report, this growing trend highlights how more individuals are choosing to support the causes they care about when planning for the future.

And according to data from Smee & Ford, 38,178 people gave in their will in 2023. It’s the highest number ever recorded by Smee and Ford with almost 10,951 charities reporting legacy income of £3.5bn.

As a small charity, we know how powerful these acts of generosity can be. That’s why we created the Gift In Wills Guide to help you understand everything involved in leaving a legacy. Whether it’s large or small, your gift will make a real difference to the dental community for years to come.

Writing your Will is easier than you think

Check out our short video to see how simple it can be to start the process, protect your loved ones and if you can, leave us a gift.

There’s no obligation to leave us a gift when using this offer. But after taking care of your loved ones, we hope you consider contributing to the Charity—to support our vital work.

“Thank you for giving me the push I needed to finally write my Will.”

Even a contribution equal to the price of the savings you’ve made by not paying for the Will today will make a meaningful impact. Through our partnership with Farewill, you could save up to £380* by completing your Will with their service in October.

The process is quick and straightforward. With Farewill, you can write or amend your Will in under 30 minutes, either online or over the phone. Plus, their expert team is available six days a week to provide guidance and ensure your wishes are carried out exactly as you intend.
