A lifetime of Service, A Legacy of Care
After a long and distinguished career, Dr Keith Percival has retired as Secretary of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Dental Committee leaving behind a remarkable legacy of dedication, leadership, and compassion. As Keith steps into retirement, his friends and colleagues have chosen to celebrate his incredible career by raising funds for our Charity in his honour; ensuring his spirit of generosity continues to touch lives for years to come.
“Keith has been a quiet, unassuming but serious campaigner for dentistry for many years. He sees the issues through the eyes of the patient and the eyes of the profession.” explains Dr Tony Jacobs, Trustee of BDA Benevolent Fund.
For over two decades, Keith has worked tirelessly on behalf of dentists across Hampshire, earning the deep respect and admiration of his colleagues. His guidance, advocacy, and unwavering commitment have strengthened the profession and supported countless individuals along the way.
A Champion for the BDA Benevolent Fund
Dr Henrik Overgaard-Nielsen, Trustee of the BDA Benevolent Fund commented:
“I have worked with Keith over many years as a member of the General Dental Practice Committee at the BDA. Keith always spoke with great insight, knew everything in his local area and nationally. Keith was a valued member of GDPC and highly respected by us all, working tirelessly for the dentists he represented.”
Keith has always held our Charity close to his heart. Under his leadership, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight LDC generously donated £11,000 this year alone to support colleagues in need.
