A New Chairman for the Fund We are delighted to announce that Ann Rockey was elected to be Chairman of the Fund at the AGM in June 2011. She succeeds Mavis Phipps who had been Acting Chairman since Ian McIntyre's sudden resignation due to illness. Ann has been a Trustee of the Fund for 20 years; she has her own practice in Cardiff and is very involved in post-graduate training in the Cardiff Deanery, and has been a member of the BDA's Representative Body for many years. Ann said 'It is an enormous honour to be elected by my fellow Trustees, and I thank Mavis for her wonderful work with the Fund, especially over the last difficult months. I will ensure the Fund continues to support our colleagues in need.'

The Fund helps all dentists (who are/have been on the UK register, BDA members and non-members alike) and their dependants when in need by providing food, clothes, a roof over their heads, peace of mind and plenty more.
